Dr. A K Bansal
Gastro, GI Oncology, HPB & Liver Surgery · Lucknow
A brand-new gastro and liver centre in Gomti Nagar, launched from zero on 14 May 2026 — first in the Lucknow map pack within twelve weeks, and around 12 patients a day walking into the OPD from the channels we run.

[ THE_STARTING_POINT ]
Where we started.
- A new centre opening on 14 May 2026 — no listing, no reviews, no search history, in a city where established gastro practices already carried 1,300 and 380 reviews.
- An established surgical reputation that lived under hospital brands. The new centre needed an identity of its own that patients could find directly.
- Launch timing is unforgiving: every week without visibility is a week of empty OPD slots that never come back.
[ WHAT_WE_DID ]
The work.
- 01
Everything ready before the doors opened
The website, the Google Business Profile and the content calendar were built to go live with the clinic, not after it. A new centre cannot afford to be invisible in the weeks patients are first looking for it.
- 02
Google Business Profile as the primary channel
Correct primary category for the specialty, treatment and service listings, NAP consistency across every directory, weekly posts, and a review routine from day one — which is how a listing with no history reaches 217 reviews in twelve weeks.
- 03
Own the search result
drbansalgastro.com built as the practice’s own front door — treatment-led pages for the conditions patients actually search, structured so each one can rank on its own rather than leaning on a single homepage.
- 04
Consistent social publishing
Regular reel and carousel production explaining procedures in plain language, shot to a schedule rather than whenever there was a free afternoon.
- 05
Capture what the visibility produces
A practice CRM on his own domain so enquiries from search, ads and WhatsApp land somewhere the front desk works, instead of dying in a personal inbox.

[ THE_CONDITIONS ]
Why this worked — and what it needed.
Results like this are not weather. They depend on things that were true here and are not true everywhere, so here is what the twelve weeks actually rested on.
The clinic was brand new
No legacy listing, no duplicate profiles, no old reviews to dig out from under. That is the fastest starting position there is, and an established practice with years of inconsistent listings takes longer to move.
The doctor turns up
Scripts get reviewed, shoots happen on schedule and clinical accuracy is checked before anything publishes. Content marketing for a doctor who cannot spare two hours a fortnight does not work, whoever is running it.
The front desk asks for reviews
217 reviews in twelve weeks happened because someone requests one after the appointment, every time. We build the system and write the message; the habit belongs to the practice.
Everything launched together
Website, Google profile and content calendar went live with the clinic rather than being bolted on months later. Retrofitting after opening costs time you cannot get back.
The specialty is searched
Gastro and liver symptoms send people to Google before they ask anyone. Specialties that run mostly on referral behave differently and need a different plan.
